So we at Donegal Daily thought we take a few seconds out to reflect on the issues that shaped the week in our stunning county.Some a serious and some not so serious.Our Friday Feeling will be a quick snapshot on life in Donegal which is anything but boring with each passing week.What we learned this week in Donegal …….1. RTE star Ryan Tubridy loves Donegal, Football Special and may just buy a place in Dunfanaghy. 2. Sarah Jessica Parker also loves Donegal and plans to return to Kilcar very soon.3. Callaghan’s Bar in Churchill is to get a lick of paint after winning the Crown Paint ‘Paint My Pub’ competition.4. Malin Head could become a major tourist attraction as Donegal County Council unveiled plans for Ireland’s most northerly point.5. Ballybofey man Oisin Merritt is an example to us all that we should never give up. Callaghan’s Bar is getting a lick of paint.6. After years of crashes, near misses and protests, the people of Buncrana are to get a new €3M bridge at Cockhill.7. Donegal has the second highest number of incidence of people being treated for alcoholism, according to a new survey by the Health Research Board.8. Patrick Gildea Hairdressing Salon is the best in Ireland according to RSVP celebrity magazine.9. The dermatology clinic at Letterkenny General Hospital has closed much to the annoyance of patients.10. Armagh star Ciaran McKeever claims Donegal are the best team in the country. Hopefully, he’ll still be saying that late on Sunday afternoon!
